           How to Enjoy Tai Chi Green Tea

                                                  Tea Bag

    The tea in the bag can be eaten raw or after being soaked in water.  
    1. Use a 2-6 oz china cup of cold to warm (mineral) water to make one tea bag.
        (The cooler the water, the better).
         Drink after 3-6 minutes.  When the cup is half-empty, refill. Refill 2-6 times.
         Do not add anything else to the tea. Consume the tea within one hour.
        You may rip the tea bag and eat the tea after drinking.
    2.  Remove the string and put the tea bag into a bottle of 8 -12 oz cold to cool spring water.
        Tighten the cap. Shake well. Drink after 6 minutes.
        Consume the tea within one hour or as soon as possible.
    3. Rip the tea bag and sprinkle the tea powder on your food (fish, salad, beef, chicken ….) to eat it raw.

                                            Loose Tea

    The tea leaves can be eaten raw or after being soaked in water.
    1. Use a 6-8 oz china cup (or glass) of cool to warm (mineral) water to brew one packet of loose tea (the cooler the water,
    the better, but brewing time will be longer).
         Drink after 3 minutes (warm water)- 8 minutes (cool water)  minutes.
         When the cup is half-empty, refill. Refill 2-4 times.
         Do not add anything else to the tea. Consume the tea within one hour.
        You may eat every piece of the leaves after drinking.
    2. Keep a packet on hand (in the car) to eat a few pieces of the raw tea to refresh yourself or sprinkle the tea on your food
    (fish or salad) to eat it raw
    3.  Put the tea leaves into a bottle of  8-16 oz cool spring water. Shake well, drink and eat the tea.  Consume the tea within
    one hour or as soon as possible.

    Cautions
  • People who are allergic to caffeine should not drink green tea.
  •  Pregnant women should not drink too much green tea.
  •  Do not drink tea without some food while too hungry. Do not drink green tea late at night.
  •  Do not use foam cup or paper cup to make tea.

    How to Use Tai Chi Green Tea  to Maximize Health Benefits   
              
    The followings are some suggestions as how to maximize green tea health benefits according to some specific concerns.

    Diabetes
    •        Only make the tea with cold water.
    •        Only consume green tea with food or after eating something because green tea lowers blood sugar. Limit consumption
    amount.
    •        If taking medicine, take medicine and green tea separately.

    High Blood Pressure, Cancer or HIV, Detoxify the Body, Allergy, Low Energy
    •        Drink and eat green tea.
    •        For those with high blood pressure, use cold water to make the tea.
    •        Consume as much as one can take (1-3 servings). Do not consume too much to let the tea interrupt sleep.   

    Cold, Digestion Problem, High Cholesterol, Heart Burn, Heart Disease, Arthritis, asthma
    •         Loose Tea and warm water will be better.
    •        Use 8 oz warm water to make one packet of loose tea. When the water turns light green, drink. Refill 3 times or so.
    Finish the tea within 30 minutes. Eat every piece of the leaves. If one can, he may take 2-3 packet of loose tea a day.

    Skin Problem (Sunburn, eczema, acne, itching skin & etc)
    Drinking green tea to detoxify the body, aid digestion and boost immune system, at the same time we can use the tea bag on
    the affected area as the following:
    •        Open the little plastic bag. Take the tea bag out and put it back to let the string & little tag stay outside of the bag.
    •        Drop a few drops of cool or lukewarm water into the bag. Hold the bag for 10 minutes. Take the soaked tea bag out.
    Squeeze the tea on the skin a few times. Discard the tea bag after 30 minutes or so.

    Overweight
    •        Eat the leaves after drinking, or just sprinkle the tea powder (from tea bag) or the loose tea on food to eat it raw.
    Consume as more as one can to achieve the best weight loss results (1-3 bags).

    Migraine, Headache
    •        Enjoy it the way one likes the best. Limit the amount and only consume the tea after or during breakfast or lunch.
    •        (For those with migraine,  no alcohol or hot pepper. Have good sleep).

    Cavity & Bad Breath, Toothache
    •        Chew a few pieces of green tea any time during the day.
